The sequestration reductions have forced programs to find creative ways of stretching their budgets while continuing to provide services to their students and professionally develop their employees. GASPP fully understands the affect the $58 million budget cuts have had on TRiO programs. The 5.1% across the board cuts were a major consideration while planning the trainings, conferences and other events the association will host during the 2013-2014 years. In consideration of sequestration and the associated budget cuts, the GASPP Board has unanimously agreed to reduce the registration fee for both our Fall Training and Student Initiatives by almost 50% and our Tri-State Conference remains the most affordable professional development conferences ever!
